eSata doesn't seem to be working.

I can't connect my dock through eSata anymore. I think it might be because of 9c.17, but I'm not sure. I vaguely remember hearing that it could cause problems with eSata, but I can't find any threads about it, and I'm not sure I didn't imagine it.

my laptop came with the 9c.17 bios and i have no problems using the esata
(well i do have one problem external but that problem is with every computer so its probably the external itself)

the only thing i can think of is that the esata cable isnt being fully inserted because the port is somewhat recessed so maybe the plastic casing on the cable isnt letting it go all the way in.

You know, that is a very strong possibility. I love eSata, but the physical connection is complete garbage. I'll shave some of the plastic off and see if that helps.
