Well my ethernet plug doesnt work. My wireless works but when i plug in ethernet it just says local only unlike the wireless. Wireless says local and internet. Could it be a driver issue? I did do a fresh install a while ago but have never tried my ethernet until now

Have you tried turn your wifi radio off and opening an internet web page anyway? Sometimes the internet globe doesn't appear over my network icon, but I can connect anyway.

    I get the same thing.

I just use wireless since I have wireless at home and at work. It still kind of bugs me because I have tried numerous times to get the Ethernet to work but have never found out how.
