hey guys i finally found solution for this stupid error (display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and recover successfully).
believe or not its my Logitech MX Revolution Mouse !!!
i installed windows 7 and vista like 15 times in past month, bunch of newer and older video drivers, tried underclocking gpu, undervolting as well, both cpu and gpu.... disassembled laptop twice, used air compresor, changed thermal paste on cpu and gpu........ nothing worked.
here is one of my thread :

today i decided to use my old logitech wired mouse and guess what...games are not freezing anymore! everything is smooth, might try to overclock my gpu now![]()
i hope this will help someone!

I have the same problem, after sniffin around the internet they said its a typical windows vista error which occurs quite ofthen.
I have my doubts wether it is your mouse, somethimes your graphic card shuts down for a few seconds to cool down which also creates a black screen. But then I again I might be mixing things up.
I also have a logitech mouse, with wire. I doubt its the reason of al the blackscreen errors because those are fixed in my computer, not because I swtiched mouses, I still use the same one, but because I use a laptopcooler which prevents my nvidia 8 series from overheating and shutting down. -
Holy fudge, that mustve been some frustrating times mate.
With you the best of luck! -
I had a similar problem as the OP but it was with a Razer Salmosa mouse. But with me every time I plugged it in I would BSOD lol.
I just bought a new mouse and used the other one on a different computer
Its good you solved your problem though cheers! -
Had black screen problems too, now my laptop is a paperweight, gpu died.
Gaming laptops = bad idea. I learned it the hard way. Better to build a solid $800 desktop and get a net book instead of ploppin down 1k for hot, heavy non upgradeable beast. Bah don't listen to me im still pist since mine died 4 days ago. -

@WysockiSauce didnt you also overclock though?
the crash for the vid drivers can be anything really. i had this issue on my desktop and was able to fix it by switching ram even though the ram functioned fine. i guess my mobo just didnt like that ram even though both the ram and mobo manufacturers told me it tested fine in their labs. -
Just saying that in my case the black screen was a gpu issue. -
this is probably the last gaming lappy i am gonna have.
found solution for black screen crash (nvlddmkm)
