    hi

recently i got a new gateway MT3707 laptop. when i try to connect the internet, the error message is coming. mine is a broadband connection thro' modem. i checked with the ISP. there's no problem with it. bcoz the internet is working fine with the other notebook. i really got frustrated after repeated attempts. i contacted the gateway customer support, they simply said that it may be related to ISP.
the error message is coming like this.

cann't connected to the broadband , bcoz the remote server is not responding, check the network adaptors and contact your ISP.

i do not know where the problem is.
has anyone faced this situation before. please suggest if there's any solution to this.

    thanks

Can you ping the card? Perhaps shutting down your firewall will help.
