    Im looking to buy a gateway NV58. Is the key board back lit? Also does it burn cds. Thanks

    Dude, I am glad that you interesting to buy NV series laptop.

    1) Ha Ha I wish that NV has back lit keyboard like alienware laptop.. My answer is no, and NV's keyboard is different layout than other laptop. keyboard is flat.. NV 52 and 58 are same specs and different cpu.

    2) Yes it does burn both cds and dvds.

    Goodluck with your decision which laptop you purchase.
