    does anyone know this laptops, max hard drive upgrade?
    Can it use 2x500 7200?
    and the maximum cpu?
    has anyone upgraded to a blue ray?

    Yes it can use 2x500gb 7200 rpm hard drives.
    The maximum CPU you can use is the X9000.
    Cohowap has done a Blu-ray upgrade but if you don't have a 1920x1200 screen it is not really worth it.

    Well 1440x900 is still over 4x greater than 640x480 or w/e the widescreen DVDs have for a resolution.

    if you want more space vs more speed, there is the x2 640gb 5400rpm, or the x2 750gb drives, not sure if they are out yet or close to being out.

    the x9000 cpu can be overclocked now, people are getting 3.5 on average.
