Sorry if this has been asked before, I googled but I couldn't find any answers...

I update my windows vista to windows 7, and it doesn't seem to recognize my GPU. Nvidia says that I should go to windows update and download the driver from there, but it's not listed. I've tried a couple of vista64 drivers but I can't install them because it says I don't have vista.

What should I do? Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

The vista drivers do work, I've used them on several Windows 7 installations. Make sure you're downloading the correct mobile drivers from Nvidia. I am currently using the Dox optimised 185.20 drivers on Windows 7 on my personal p7801u.
