    i was thinking of how i could have my fx keyboard so it lights up and so far i found this http://www.myglowkeys.com/faq.php
    so has anybody modded there keyboard yet or done something like that?

    i took apart my 6830 the other day, completely, and the keyboard is removeable, so you could technically swap it out.

    yes i know it connected by a screw with a wire and molex like conenctor but i was thinking is there any place i could buy a prelit laptop keyboard...

    You might could use the one that alienware uses. They have a back lit keyboard in their systems.

    Not sure if they would sell you one (or if it would fit) but its an idea
