    hdd temperature seems too high..

    is it safe? it just seems to go over 50c way too often.. sometimes 60c..
    i can't compare this temperature to desktop but hdd in my desktop never go beyond 35c even during summer.

    That's part of the wonders of Seagate. I saw mine often touch 60c under full load for extended periods of time. Then I threw in some WDs and they never broke 45c. Usually lowers 40s.

    My 5u has a WD3200BEKT HD.

    Do some have Seagates?

    60 is high, but 50 isn't unheard of. Mine hover around 40-45, even though they are Seagates. I recommend getting a cooling pad and placing the fans below the hard drive.

    Wow. 67 huh? Well, If I were you, I'd start backing up all of my important files. That's hotter than my GPU usually gets, even when gaming.
