What are you trying to do? Find out which PLL is used in your laptop so you can overclock?

Let us know how it goes. Tell them you want to know for informational purposes only if they ask. I emailed them with the same question and they sent me a link to a certain spec but I don't think it was the right one. Either way though I don't think the PLL on the FX's is supported in SetFSB.

Why not just open it up and look? Sounds daunting but it's the only way to be 100% sure, and it only takes an hour or two to disassemble, find, and reassemble.

Find out your PLL and email the guys who make FSB. Some PLL's cannot be overclocked. If yours can, get lots of people requesting that they add it to setFSB.

Yuck. You'd probably have to give them your s/n when you call. Then if you ever send in your notebook they might check for signs of OC and possibly deny service. Sounds like a job for someone with a BestBuy FX :)

It seems the only way to get this info is for someone to attempt to rip apart their $1000+ laptop again and after the last episode(RIP) I'm not so sure anyone is going to try this again.
