    my cousing broke my p 6831 :mad: and i whant a new my plan is buy a p-6060 fx but i want a finger print reader and this dont have it, and the one whit the finger print reader is too expensive and y don want to pay more then 2000 dollars, and my question is what laptop can i buy ? what laptop is best then the p-6060 i am a gamer the p6060 is the best for me? or this one is better?(p6060)

    which one do you recomend me?

    btw, it's 6860, and i don't think you can get any other laptops with a 8800 GPU at this price.

    what do you mean broke it ?
    ask gateway to repair it before you go buy a new one.
    anyway even if it is broken beyond repair, some guys here might be interested in parts, that might help pay your new one.

    try describing what is broken and what is ok.
    or just take a picture and put it here.

    the 6860fx from best buy is vey a good buy.

    is broken from all the left side and the screen is separate of the other part, i cant sent to repair to gateway.

    i live in mexico i think nothing else want to come for the parts =)

    i will buy the p 6860 and put the t9300 and the two hard drives in the new


    but i liked hib a one whit a finger print reader :(

    careful with that dude.
    still you can try selling the memory modules and if you can have someone remove the gpu professionally i think you can make some good money off it.

    sounds like great fun, reducing it to pieces that is :)
