    Hi.

My DVD/Blue Ray drive is springing out everytime I log onto my laptop and pushing it back wont help as it springs back with in 5 seconds.

When my laptop is powered off and when I push the drive it wont come out. Prb is only when its powered in.

I googled to see what could be the probable issues and some people mention that it could be that the eject lever may have got jammed resulting it auto ejecting. If that is the case why doesnt it eject when its powered off?

Any help will be great appreciated as my laptop gets moved around a lot plus i got two small kids and its a matter of time when the dvd drive will be broken.

You can try remove the optical drive and re-seat it. Compressed canned air can also be helpful

    cheers ...
