    Hi!

    I bought new disks (2x250gb for raid) to my gateway p-7811fx so i had to install vista (64bit) from begining. I installed some drivers and everything seems to be ok but i haven't hibernate (i see only sleep, restart, shutdown) option.
    I have "Intel Chipset" driver installed.
    Where i can find acpi/apm drivers? I think acpi/apm driver is that what i need. Propably there is more differences beetwen my and factory Vista installations connected to leak of this driver, but i remark only this because i used factory installation for only few hours, for testing purposes.

    Sorry for my english...

    run a cmd window
    type in ;

    powercfg /hibernate on

    or just copy an paste the above

    now restart the computer, you will notice the hibernate option available now, but you will not be able to use it until restart.

    Hope this helps
