    Hi
I have Gateway 450ROG laptop... Even after enabling hibernation from power options of windows xp, hibernation doesn't work..

when I set it to go for hibernation,it simply keeps on trying to hibernate...and gets stuck there....

do you have any ideas what may have gone wrong ??

For what it's worth, I dislike hibernation. It takes huge space and is a troubled feature. Just an opinion and if you love it then by all means try fixing it. I would dump it.

if you dislike it and don't have solution with you, why are you bothering then ??? you needn't suggest to fix it...

BTW, I don't care if you dump it or trash it...
