    how to delete windows.old

    I have this file windows.old that takes up about 15gigs of space, but everytime I try to delete it, it wont let me. How would I delete it?

    Have you tried the disk cleanup???? It usually deletes this windows.old!!!

    Open the disk cleanup tool and select "Files from all users on this computer"... and select the drive you want.. and I think it will list what is available to be cleaned, where you can see n select windows.old!!
