I have a emachines eMD620-5777 laptop. I have tried to open up the bottom to upgrade the memory. it however, will not open up despite all the screws being out. I'm wondering if anyone has any specific instructions on how to do a memory upgrade yourself on this unit. i think its also called a m5777.

i had googled for specific instructions on this particular laptop, and found one other man, who didn't know how to get it open despite the screws being out. if anyone knows how, or can point me to specific instructions, that'd be great.

also, will this laptop accept more than 2gb of memory ? maybe i should have gotten 4 instead of the two, i didn't want to push it though.

please zap this post from this forum. i saw it was in the wrong one, and reposted in the emachines sub forum. it didn't seem very obvious that that the link that goes to "gateway and emachine laptop" would have a subforum for non-gateway posts. sorry for the mixup. a duplicate of this original post, went to the emachines sub forum.
