i just bought gateway p-7805u and thinking about replacing cpu.
i am thinking about t9400.. there's t9500 and t9600 but they all have same 6mb cache and just faster clock speed. i don't think extra .2 to .3mhz would
make much difference there and they cost like $100 more too..
is it worth it? does t8400 bottleneck 9800m gts?
while 9800m gts is one of better gpu for notebook but it's nowhere near
as powerful as desktop gtx 200 series or not even 9800gt desktop version.
obviously, i won't see any noticable difference in gaming or will i?

i own i7 920(oc'ed to 3.6mhz) so won't be using laptop for video editing
    either.

P9600. 2.66 is such a sexy number, and it should come out around the price of the P9500.

Are you going retail or engineering sample?

only QS work on this laptop?
but it will surely won't make games run faster since game is more on gpu based, won't it?

    ok. thx.
one more question.. why isn't my vista aero assessment don't work?
i uninstalled some unnessary programs(like norton, gateway games, office trail etc) and installed lastest notebook gpu driver from nvidia(179.28)
and ran to rate my system. it runs but it doesn't show any score..
    what's wrong with it?
