    than emachines. i noticed how the they are exactly the same. in fact the 7510 is an exact copy with a new amd chip. i noticed emachines is not selling their own line of laptops anymore. is this cause for concern? i just bought one yesterday, i haven`t taken it out of the box yet.

    I wouldn't say nothing more than emachines but that's what they are... Gateway owns emachines now and after a while, took the popular emachine notebooks and made them into gateways... They are still based on arima systems...

    Pro: The hinge cracking issue, so far is gone
    Con: Gateway hasn't shown these notebooks the greatest support because they only sell them retail...

    There probably more cons and pros but those are the only things i'm worried about... I have to say the 7510 is the best form gateway/emachines ever used for this series... Great video card, fast processor, ample ram... Hard drive at 4200 has to go...
