    laptop keeps changing brightness

    I had the brightness changed before but it sometimes changes to default on its own then after like 3 secs it would change back again, does it sound like a power issue to you guys? how can i fix it? it doesn't do any harm to my screen, right?

    Yeah sounds like you could be losing power for a moment. Try setting the screen brightness on AC and battery to the same level in power management in control panel. There is also an option in the BIOS to reduce screen brightness on battery which you should disable. If that fixes it you know it is definitely a power issue.
