havent been able to use windows media player for quite some time, I'm getting sound but a grey screen. Tried to just install the latest windows media player 11 again and I get the "you have the latest version" message. This must of happened after a windows update but i'm not sure which one and I'd hate to reformat at this point. Any help?>

You can use other programs besides Media Player that will work with the buttons on the P6860, I would try one of those. Media Player in general is a resourse and memory hog. It tries to take over your computer. I would unistall it on my computer but I've heard that it can cause glitches in the os. As for what programs work; I know that ITunes works. Thats also resource intensive but I have an Ipod.
