    is there such a thing? I fresh installed and the integrated mic doesn't work :[

    check your sound option in the control panel to see if it you can see the mic, and does device manager have any missing devices?

    my mic didn't work off of a fresh install either. it DID work after I got the conexant drivers from... believe it or not... gateway's support site

    I was told the sound drivers for the 6 and 7 series are different.
