I use Teamspeak everyday. Works great most of the time. Since Ive gotten this laptop (and am using vista) if I am playing certain games or have certain windows open or programs running, I cant talk on TS. I can hear fine. Just stops me from talking. Ive tried a bunch of diff PTT keys for TS. Ive tried changing the mic settings in the control panel.... Any ideas anyone?
    Thanks

The mic sucks... theres not alot you can do about it. :(

Its best to get an external solution.

Doubtful but would an external mic help or is it more of a driver/hardware prob?

Sorry i wasnt clear. External Solution = External mic

Usually we just get a nice headset with built in mic, seems to work the best. But just a plain old external mic will do just as good.

(though headsets will give ALOT better sound than the base speakers in the system)

I found a solution. (should always look at the simple first.....unlike me :) ) Just run TS in admin mode. Works fine in and out of games now. Might help some others. Thx

if i was you i would still go with an external solution as ive heard my voice coming out of someone elses laptop though the mic on ours and blargh is all i could say. it sounded terrible (at least to me it did) once i bought a better mic i was thanked by the people i play with because it was much cleaner and easier to understand.
