ok i just found and not sure either that part of my multimedia panel is not working. the only button that works is the "mute" button. i read the manual that if u press the "arrow" pointing to the right that it would bring up the window media center which did not.
im pretty sure i installed all the drivers that i made copy of before insalling a fresh copy of windows. any ideas?

also, does any1 know how to turn off the touchpad temporarily? since i use a usb mouse and the fact that i hate is that the touchpad is positioned a little bit to the left is that i sometimes accidentally touch it with my palm and any1 who plays BF2 & CS as a sniper knows this isnt a good thing.

edit: 1 more thing.after reinstalling windows...i found that my gateway recovery center is not available on my programs list no more.any1?
    thanks

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=257866 for your GRC issue.

touch pad you can turn off by control panel -> mouse -> device settings. if you dont have device settings listed there, that means you didnt install the synaptics driver. i suggest installing GRC first then getting the driver from there.

you will also find the application that will make your multimedia panel working in GRC, its called like HotStart or something I dont remember

oh and this all will only work if you still have your D partition. I hope you didnt delete it =X

EDIT: really odd...my MM panel isnt working now either. it worked before o_o
