heyy lately my P-7805u has been acting weird. out of no where for no reason it has became slightly noticeably slower. also i think my video card is taking a crap on me. whenever im playing a game and like a huge explosion or something of that matter happens, the game freezes and then just repeats the explosion. then after like 5 or so seconds of that it stops and begins to play just fine. can anyone help me out?

In order to help you out, more info is needed.
on battery or plugged in?
powermiser setting?
resolution settings when it happens.
The game you are playing(surprisingly they all have their quirks)
All temps.
What other programs were active at the time?
OS and version?
Answer these questions and someone may be able to help you pinpoint the problem. -

Ok I can help out. Powermizer controls the power profiles of your graphics card. For some people it causes problems that can be fixed by turning it off, however this isn't the best solution since without powermizer your gpu temps will be much higher or your GPU fan will run more and you will drain a lot of battery life. You can get the tried and true Powermizer switch to turn it off, but there is a better program here PowerMizer Manager | Some More Bytes .
You should definitely check your resolution for your games. You usually want to run at the native res (the max) cuz it makes things clear. Sometimes scaling a lower resolution on a higher res monitor can cause problems in rare occasions.
Your OS is Vista 64-bit SP2 since that is stock. Use HWMonitor to monitor your temps, but never trust the Intel temp readings!
High performance power mode in Vista is good for trouble shooting, however for a reason I won't go into power saving mode is the best as long as your max CPU speed is set 100% and min to 0%.
How is Heroes of Newerth? I'm a Dota fan but never liked the people lagging out/quitting obviously and the one-sidedness of most games. -
man this stuff is confusing.
but yeah hons like x1000000 times better. then have option that when you disconnect you can reconnect within like 3 mins. and no leavers matches, so like if you have a certain percent of leaves you can't join it so hardly anyone leaves. graphics are WAY better haha. it's pretty much just a perfected dota.
my P-7805u has been acting up lately..
