Well, gotta say a couple of things here. You don't tell us what your playing and if your trying to play anything more than Sims3 on a $600 notebook it isn't going to work. That's why there are GAMING notebooks like the P-78xx and P79xx.

Yes if your going to game, depending on the game itself then buy a good notebook cooler. That will help out with the temps.

Was this on a desk? In your lap? On a bed/carpet?

A good laptop cooler can make quite a difference in temps. So can other things like changing graphics settings/resolution, stressing the cpu less by shutting down processes that dont need to be running, changing thermal paste to a higher quality compound will also help. Also be sure to keep the heatsink and vents clean.

Almost everything that can be done to other laptops to help cooling problems can be done to the NV series, just like every other laptop.

Obviously the hardware will be stressing more than a higher-end laptop playing the same game with the same settings, but as already posted that is the trade-off for buying a $600 laptop.

Normal web browsing I run from 50c to 60c also witch still seems high but anyway the game is left 4 dead 2 it plays it really good no lag even at high heat I played it for little over 2 hours during that test the laptop was setting on a board game box because it was laying on a bed so it did have surface to breath under

Either that notebook is just really hot and the cooling sucks, or the thermal paste wasnt seat properly or there is not any. If you feel comfortable, I would try opening it up and maybe clearing out the vents/ re-applying the thermal paste, under no circumstance should that be going to 90c, even when gaming, over 70 would still surprise me.

You will have to learn what services you need and what you don't. If you don't know what it is, don't modify it. (services.msc)
Disable things from startup that you don't need to open automatically when the computer boots. (Startup tab in msconfig)

As far as things you want running but want to close when you play games.. you can write a batch file to stop the services and end the processes. Then you simply open the batch file and it will do everything automatically for you.
