    new gateway netbook slow charge

    i got a new netbook yesterday. first charge was under an hour. it depleted to completely dead whil playing it and i charged it. it took over 15 hours to get a full charge.


    how do i fix

    To fully charge a battery does take a couple hours. If it was turned on, it will take even longer. You may want to cycle the battery from 50-100-50... for a week or so and then go down to 10% and completely recharge it, while it's off.

    well it says dont charge longer than an hour on a regular notebook so a netbook 11 in shouldnt take over an hour , right?

    Wait, it says to not charge for more than an hour at a time? I know my G2S take a couple hours from 0-5% to 100%. Possibly give Gateway a call.
