    just got my laptop back from gateway its a mt6831 they replace mother board it took 16 weeks to ge it back .
    now i have no sound on it. what iwould like to know is how to take it apart to check to see what they left undone. i have look around but can't find anything

    I would check to see if the device has been recognized and driver updated before tearing it apart.
