for those of you that have an overclocked x9100 in P series, what sort of profile are you using? What voltages/multipliers would you suggest?
Thanks

i know how, I just would like advice on what you all found to be the best voltage/clock

i can push mine to 3.7GHz on 1.363GHz. Crazy high temps though. Had to do the following mods to my 7805u.
mod main heatsink with epoxyed 12 copper (RAM) heatsinks using AS5 thermal adhesive; 8 along the heatpipe and 4 across the aluminium body of the heatsink itself
copper heat spreaders on the ram
copper shim on northbridge chipset
overvolted cryo LX running @15v using 3x sycthe s-flex 1600rpm fans
Evercool NB-MA1 external cooler attached to CPU vent
drilled holes in CPU backpanel for additional ventilation to complement heatsink mod - (Cryo LX fans blast cool air straight over the 12 copper heatsinks for increased heat dissipation via the drilled holes; see http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/416414-clevo-m570tu-cooling-overhaul.html for hole layout....i basically followed this).
Usually game at 3.6GHZ on 1.3v. 3.4GHz on 1.288v seems a good compromise.
Might try for 3.8 or 3.9GHz in the near future. -
holy cow, i think im just going to try 3.4ghz for benchmarking and leave it at 3.0ghz for gaming. cant wait to get my x9100 in the mail...

yeah all that now makes me idle at the reported temps that "normal" X9100 users are accustomed to.
overclocking the x9100
