Okay so I have a problem with my gateway p-6860fx laptop. It was once running Windows Vista Home Premium OS, and I recently downgraded to WinXP Professional. Successful on downgrading but not completely successful. I installed the nvidia drivers and the chipset drivers, but I still cannot get onto the internet thru wireless or using the ethernet cable plug in. Can anyone help me out on where to find which specific driver to get my internet working on the laptop? greatly appreciate it and thank you.

If windows XP update does not have the ability to locate the proper drivers automatically ( I think only windows vista/7 can)... then go to the actual gateway website and see if you can get them working... then post back
