About the noise just slightly put pressure on the DVD drive cover and see if it goes away.

I never used those software but I do use image burn. Try this to make sure its not a hardware issue. Can you update the software/reinstall?

Some drives are picky on what media they use like DVD-R or using DVD+R. Try both kinds and see.

Pressing on the cover doesn't help, it still make the processing noise the first few second like a printer about to print and is processing it ink slider.

I will give that burning program a shot and try another type of cd to see the cdrom burner will burn.

Plus i have already uninstalled and reintalled the latest driver for the dvdrom on the p7805u. Nothing changes and still the same error.
