My laptop gets pretty hot on the bottom right side (where i rest my right palm) and I was wondering what's the cause of this? It just started to happen recently too.

On the other side there is the GPU and that's much harder to get to than the CPU, try using some canned air to see if you can get some dust out. -
I thought the cpu was located at the upper right of the laptop.
I'm talking about like to the bottom-right of where the sd card slot area is and the wifi switch. -
I found put what it is, it's my hard drive. Whys is it doing this? It's starting to get so hit that I'm able to feel it from the top of my notebook.

Help!!!!!!!!

Dude... relax... first.. clean your laptop of any dust. Second.. hdd's and even ssd's will create heat.. if youre running a program or game even.. it WILL heat up there... thats normal. is it getting to the point to where it is too hot to touch?
-
Yeah its getting to that point and it'll even get that hot when I'm not running any programs
-
Could be a problem with your hard drive itself. Regardless, back up any important files because heat will kill the drive.
-
you need to use something like CPUID and get actual temps and post them.
CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
this also might help
