My backspace keys is somewhat malfunctioning. It used to be that when I pressed the left part of my backspace I could still delete letters, but now I have to press the middle of my backspace to do the same thing.

I know that in some desktop keyboards the keys just pop right out with a wedge like a screwdriver, is this the same with the p-7805u's keys?

Edit: OK so I just got the key fixed. Used a paper clip to remove some leftover dried chicken underneath the key. I'm still interested in whether or not I can remove the key though, since the chicken fell through.

The keys can be removed as they clip on/off. It is a tight fit, so I would force it off as the key mechanism is quite fragile. You could try to pry off one side of the backspace key lightly, as it should pop off.
