it wasn't like this about an month ago but now it takes like 3 mins to boot my p-7805u. i am using windows vista 64bit home edition and of course, i did disk clean up, disabled all unnecessary start up programs and disc defragment. i have zero junk adware that comes with this laptop cuz i formatted my laptop and installed fresh copy of vista.

only thing that might slowdown the laptop would be bitdefender 2009
anti-virus program but i had it installed since day 1 so there's no reason
this program would cause slow booting all of sudden. basically, when i
power pc, it stuck at black screen right after that vista green loading
screen passes. it gets stuck there for like a min or two and then
i hear de ding de ding, vista start up sound and then it gets stuck
another min till i get control of it. of course, i installed lastest updates
already so there's nothing to update and my drivers all fine.
is my laptop dying or something? i still have 100gb left on hdd as well
    and all temperatures are normal.

I think you have a bum driver thats getting stuck. Just because they are all running fine doesnt mean their start up is working correctly. You might want to go through a round of driver reinstalls to make sure nothing was messed up during the install process last time.

Other than that it might be "windows creep" and if thats the case only a nice reinstall of the OS is in order.

Hopefully someone else will have another idea for you though because i would love to be wrong and it be an easy fix for you.

I agree. Try updating or reinstalling all vital drivers. Check your processes, do a virus, spyware, and malware scan.
