p-7805u xp fix help

I have followed previous posts for 7811 and am extremely happy that there is a way to get it working with xp 32 bit. Does any one know how to fix the audio driver? I tried the devcon.exe but get a quick window screen flash and do not know what is going on and I do not get the task on restart. If I disable then enable it works but it must be done every time I boot the computer. Does any one have a fix or any ideas?

 

I never used XP on 7811/7805 but these helped once on Vista/7

I remember reading XP is a bugger but never marked it because I didn't use it. Honestly I don't know why you would use XP over Win7. Use virtual XP if you need it.

 

I am using it because there is some software that I have that will only run in xp 32 bit with service pack 2 and explorer 7. Thanks and I hope it works. I have been using a work around that after it boots up I go to device manager and disable then enable but this is a pain but it works. I was hoping that some one knows how to do this automaically. I tried to use devcon but I get the quick black window and it does not stay long enough for me to see what is happening and it does not start in the task bar. I do not know what I am doing wrong or how to fix it. Again thanks I appreciate your help and any help that I can get.
