I just got mine for 1150. Yesterday. The last one. This machine is sweet
-
**** 879$, are you serious? wow. I got mine during memorial day for 1350$, but then after taxes added and 2 year warranty it was like 1550$. I will try to sell it to my brother for 1200$ with warranty.

On this topic...I bought my for $1299 when it first came out. I had some issues with the billing and after 2 and a half months they decided to return and then I'd buy it back to ge tthe promotional financing. The orignal ticket was over $1900 when she rang it back up it was about $1400 with the price differences..haha. I was pretty happy to say the least...

Nice find. I got my Gateway 6831 FX for $809.00 about 6 months ago. If you are looking to make a profit, you need to sell quick before all the lower prices and refurnished 7811 FX start turning up on ebay & tiger. When it does, all the 7811 will have a bad resale value. This is one of the disadvantage of buying the Gateway FX vs the Dell XPS or Alienware, bad resell value, but the best value for gaming.

lol i bought 4 total and have 2 more on hold for me tomm (called right before they closed). i sold 2 today and another is already taken, one for my sister then 2 will go to ebay... nice... the other tampa store still has 3 in stock as of today but they are 50$ more or some reason so check your local stores..these sell like instantly when you put them on ebay not sure why but the first 2 didnt even last one day...honeslty though myself i dont see why the big huge rave about these. while yes they are by far cheap for what you get imo they are built VERY cheaply and feel it. the plastics feel very flimsy and the auo wuxga that has been in all of them so far looks just bad imo.. they are by far the best deal out there hands down but i think the 1730 i have is built wayyyyy better, this is just my opinion
-
-
exactly, and of course this is in no way a bad notebook. as i said though for the money at this price this is a steal.. i already had the 1730 or trust me i would have kept one for myself and be using it right now... heck i may still sell the 1730 and keep one of these at this price.. but i doubt it.. lol
-
and here I payed full price for one when it came out! haha
oh well it was all bonus money -
SWEETAZZ! jump on this fellas!
-
yea gateway originals here!
although for the money, i dont think im getting too much less then a 7811 or 7801, mine was open box @ 1099 anyways -
wow.. that's amazing! Under $900? Heck, tampa isn't far from me! PM me with the BB you went to
I may just get another 7811 and off my OCZ
Or flip one for cash.
That's a phenomenal deal though.. thats the 6860 clearence pricing. Maybe a mistake?

No, Best Buys have the ability to set clearance pricing for themselves. I got two 2887's for 941.00 each at the Hadley, MA Best Buy, because according to the manager guy, "this is a college town, everyone wants something portable. We only ever sold one or two of these a week".
So when they went on clearance, that store priced them hundreds lower than any of the other stores nearby. So I drove up there with my sister and we each bought one right then. -
Congrats, I also paid $869.00 for my 7811 at Best Buy 3 weeks ago here in Michigan.
-
who cares about plastic, the thing holds together when I type on it
I wish I could get that laptop for $900. That'd be incredible! I'd buy one from you if you wanna sell it to me -
PM ME IF INTERESTED BUT NOT FOR 900, 1100 FIRM -
i sold all of them within 5 days lol.. i kinda wish i kept one but what can you do
p-7811fx down to 879.00
