I installed RC1 for windows 7 and I no longer see the HDMI audio out for my laptop. Anyone else run into this, or have any ideas about how to fix it?
Thanks

install the HDMI driver, and you'll be up and running -
Uh oh, it looks like they only have a 32bit driver? I'm on 64bit win7 am I SOL?

why does no one trust me.
Just use the driver. Alot of applications still use 32bit drivers... This is one of those situations -
Okay I got this to work by downloading the latest 32 bit IDT audio drivers from Gateway's site and then force installing them. Trying to just run the installer didn't work.

I successfully installed this driver (Conexant HD Audio):

When I tried running setup the driver you suggested previously, I get the following error.
_ExitError: Error=Device Object not present, restart the system and run setup again
I've restarted a half dozen times - can you please suggest how to install the HDMI driver? I feel like an idiot but can't figure it out. Thanks -

How do you install modded driver?

Nevermind. I found the setup.exe file in all the files and ran it.
Works like charm now.
