    i just got my new lappy 2days ago and when i click shut down, the computer just restarts. first i thought it was error but it keeps doing it again even today... whats the problem with this laptop? even power button does same thing

    Being you just got it, take it back and exchange it, or get the new p7807u.

    so do i go to bestbuy for exchange or do i have to contact gateway>?

    No just take it back to Bestbuy along with the reciept, They will exchange it or refund you if they dont have anymore in stock. Good luck to you.

    thanks. ive tried shuting off and it works... like when i try 10 times, about 2 or 3 times it shuts down. i think whenever i play online game it will restart instead of shut down. so if i bring it to bestbuy and will they still exchange it even if it works?
