    Hey guys,

my 7811 has a tendency to make strange fan noises. Periodically it will let out one loud burst, which I think I've read is normal. But the weird noises are what happen after, the fan will run a bit, but it doesn't sound steady. It sounds like it gets louder then softer, then louder, and so on. At first I was thinking I have a defective fan, but the gpu idles below 40 degrees, and usually stays below 80 during intense gaming. During gaming the fan sounds very steady, it is only during light use does the fan sound strange.

What should I make of this?
