    Hey guys im sorry if i sound dumb I have one of those packard bell boards that I put into my Gateway fx case. I am wondering if I can nvflash a gpu bios for my board to change the gtx 260m voltages, but the problem is i cant find a bios to match mine and nvflash gives me unknown eeprom errors and i cannot use gpuz to download it either I have been searching for weeks trying to figure it out but I cannot find much on my board and I am concerned that something will go wrong if i use another bios to flash. I am wondering if someone with the same board as me would be able help me make a flashable gpu bios with voltage mods or make it for me so i can flash it i would really appreciate it :D

    Board Specs:
    Model: BH-N10
    Bios Ver: PB10E1.P03

    GPU Specs:
    Bios Ver: 62.92.87.00.0d()
    Device ID: 10DE - 0618
    Subvendor: Acer (1025)

    if you need any further information let me know.

    You can't do that.

    You have to find someone to rebuild your entire system BIOS with a vBIOS with higher voltages because the vBIOS is embedded in the system BIOS.

    I see what your saying i was reading into something like that. It involves something with a phoenix bios editor and extracting the vbios then modding it in nibitor but that stuff became too complicated for me to figure out. I hope someone who understands this more can help.

    Why are you trying to change the voltage? Essentially the nibitor route is the proper way but also someone with your board should do this for you. Reason being is access to the board with a working modded bios. Anyone else may just be editing in the dark, yeilding a hopefully working bios that will not brick your system...............

    dont worry i know.

    I want to undervolt because i would like to bring the temps down by lowering the voltage from 1.00 to .90 or .95 to save heat, I have replaced everything with IC7 but still running hot.

    I guess it is a matter of perspective, but coming from my 6831fx, this GPU runs uber cool. Most I have seen is 75 degrees.

    Done the basic things like clean out the fan & vents? Do you have even a basic laptop cooler? There are some cool chassis mods some folks have done here involving drilling extra holes in the underside.

    When you get well into the mid 90s, that is really when you should get concerned. Each game stresses the GPU differently. What games are you playing?
