Hello all. I had some simple questions about ram and the gateway pf6860. I've done some research on here and I've learned that the 6860fx can only accept up to 4gbs of ram. And that they can only be DDR2-667 and not DDR2-800. I'm pretty sure this is correct but can someone confirm this for me? Also, is there any way to add even more ram? If I was to upgrade to a 64 bit operating system, would I be able to utilize more ram?

Another question, crucial.com says that "Although the memory can be installed one module at a time, the best performance comes from using matched pairs of modules." What are peoples opinion on this? Should I buy a 4gb kit(2gbx2) and remove what I have in my laptop? Or should I buy a one 2gb stick and remove my 1gb stick installed in my laptop? Thanks!
