Do you have streak marks/particles during boot?

I just baked the motherboard and it works fine. i screwed up some bolts but now i have to open ti again and fix the mouse pad cable.

i just played batterfield 3 for like 5 mins and it looked OK.

i still have not stressed it a lot so i have to see tonight and tomorrow.
i hope it will hold on cause mine was not working eather with external monitor.

everything was fine even when windows booted i hear the lon in sound and that the sound when a hardware is detected to tell me that your gpu is f** up.

i baked it at preheated oven 200C for about 9-10 mins. then i let it to cool down and opened the oven door for 5 mins. then i took it off and it took another 3-4 mins to cool down so that i could start working on it.

i have to fix some screws and the mouspad :D

wish all the luck to others with the same issue and for easy fix.

I had the same issue as you, I contacted someone who does BGA reball and had it fixed for about $90 (with shipping). PM me if you want details.

Baking is more or less a band-aid, if you want a permanent fix you need to reball the chip with lead based solder, not the rohs crap they put when they were assembling these machines.

    Good luck
