    hi everyone

    im trying to upgrade my laptop cpu from t5750 to x7900 but when i replaced the cpu vista hangs while booting.

    what should i do get it running

    can anyone plz tellme how to flash my bios

    thnx for any help

    Boot into safe mode first and see if that helps. Once it boot into safe mode, then try to reboot and boot into regular Windows. Let us know how it goes. Hope this helps. God Bless :)

    safe mode worked but after reboot it hangs again.

    i tried installing a new copy of vista with x7900 in it but it to didnt work

    When I had my M-6864FX I too upgraded my CPU to an Intel Extreme X7900 and it worked fine with the 64-bit Vista it came with. Try to go in your BIOS and put it back to DEFAULT and save your settings and try again. Let us know how it goes. God Bless :)
