hi i just got my gateway from bestbuy!!! anyways i was wondering since its dual hard drives would it be okay for me to replace one of them with my 250gb 5400rpm hard drive or would they both have to match memory wise? and since there is 2 which one do i take out(secondary)?

the 6860 only actually has 1 hard drive in it (it will be on the right hand side if the Hard drive bay is facing you)

So feel free to add in anything you want. I'm currently running 2 x 320gb western digitals and it makes me happy (but not as happy as the 2x500gb samsungs will)

oh i thought it has 2 ok. so is it safe to add a 250gb while the other one is 320gb? or do they both have to be the same capacity?

For the best performance you are best to match the make, model and size of drive.
