Installed a game today and at the end of the install it was trying to install some microsoft ++ application and the message running out of disk space on my cd drive appeared. Ended up canceling the installation and the game installed fine. Why did i receive this message?

More info please? Original 7805 hard drive (only 320 gigs max). Have you raided? How many programs and games have you installed? Under my computers what does your hard drive space say?

As for microsoft ++ application its a bunch of stuff for windows. It can be a pretty large amount of hard drive space for microsoft windows programs/kernel software.

Vista uses 13% of the drive for recovery, if you are like me and don't really use recovery (which can bite you in the ) you can disable it. When you disable it can run disk cleanup and clean your shadowcopies/recovery files.

Nothing's loaded on the computer expect windows. I was installing legendary off my cd rom but at the end of the install it was trying to install some microsoft ++ type program and I get the message that my cd rom drive is running out of space and I can either retry or cancel. I just hit cancel and the game still works fine. Don't know why it's trying to load something on my cd rom drive.
