Hello all, thanks in advance for all your knowledge, help and advice.

NOTE: this is regarding an fx 6860 (going to pickup tommorow, WOOOOOO!!!!)

    a few questions:

    processor upgrade-

    1) How do the t9300's compare with the x7XXX series?

    2) I couldn't find the x series of processors on newegg, where can you buy them besides ebay? (I'm not going to order outside US which is where all the x7XXX series are)

    harddrive upgrade-

    3) How significant are the performance gains and how difficult is the raid configuring process? (I have an advanced computer understanding not expert)

    4) Can you run a harddrive with 7200 rpm with the stock one at 5400 rpm in a raid configuration or do they have to match?

    1. the 9xxx series have more l2 cache and higher clocks

    2. eBay is the only place I have seen Extreme Edition CPU's but they are probably sold in other online stores as well.

    3. Haven't used RAID yet

    4. the drives must match speed and should match capacity
