hi everyone i have a few questions about my notebook that have been bothering me.
on the touch volume control is there a way to make something appear that informs me what level my volume is when i use the touch control?
also when my notebook is about to die it does that not inform me and always hard shuts off my notebook when im gaming. anyway to solve this problem?
also when i hook up my notebook to my tv with an hdmi cable is there a way so that i can use the sound from my notebook instead of my tv? so that i can use my computer speakers.
thanks in advance!

For volume control try 3RVX
About notebook shutting down. The reason is because of overheating. Try cleaning up the fans and clearing the vents. If possible apply thermal compound like ICD7.
You can play the sound from the laptop while using HDMI using the sound properties in the control panel. -
To go more in detail. Go into sounds options in the control panel and find when it shows all the different types like HDMI high definition, or speakers. Disable the HDMI and then enable the speakers. After that restart whatever thing u were using with sound and it should be running off speakers.

thankss. and what i meant was that when im gaming and my battery is low it doesnt warn me so then my notebooks just dies on me.

Shouldn't Windows inform you? Have you looked at your advanced power plan settings?

yeah it does when im just browsing the web or something like that. but when im gaming it seems to over power it?? i dunno but its annoying.

I don't know if it's possible to workaround this other than finding an application to do it. But I would just think that's one extra process I don't want, I'd just keep an eye on the battery myself. I guess you could try something like this, I found two programs to do it.

Evil Claw said:Yeah, I know what he meant. I'm just saying that its probably not worth the trouble to play WOW or L4D2, etc.. for a half hour, keeping your eye on the clock as it were. Might as well plug it in and enjoy the full power of this machine. To each his own.Click to expand...
