Hey guys, just wanted to get some feedback on t9300.

Thinking about buy one soon (no rush) but wanted to know which one would be more preferred... retail or oem?

Been eyeing ebay for t9300 for a while and lost the last couple auctions and probably will just end up buying it from ewiz.com since they seem to have the best prices.

    thx for the feedback

For mobile the only difference is 3 year warranty vs. 90 day (OEM).

OEM - If you can get it for less than $200 in an auction, otherwise not worth it..!! (OEMs are a bit risky to buy though, depends upon seller's credibility)

RETAIL - Definitely go for that, since you ll be backed up by a 3-year limited warranty from Intel....Check out Newegg as well - $319 Retail

The T9300 is quite 'worth it' to buy retail since it is almost $200 less than the Retail-T9500....

    sorry i beg to differ,
anyone ever heard of a c2d that got fried in a laptop or at all?
i'd buy the oem if i get more than 50$ discount.

the t9300 is a very good processor but not because its cheaper than t9500 by 200$, its just that the t9500 is ridiculously priced.

by that logic the t9500 is a great buy cause its 200$ less than....
