    i'll be buying a gateway gaming notebook, and i was looking at the p-7811fx, but one day it was gone! i discovered that it was discontinued, and i won't have the cash for it for a couple months. so i was wondering, what laptop will replace the 7811, when will it be released, what will the specs be (including battery life), and what price will we be looking at?

    There is already a quite active thread regarding the newest version that just popped up, which is basically a 7811FX with a bigger HD, more VRAM etc, but nothing special.

    I don't think anyone has any idea what Gateway has in store for future FX releases. The decission for BB/Gateway to discontinue the very popular 7811 only a few short months after release has everyone :confused:

    If you can find one on outlet and use BB's 12month no finance charge to get it now before they are all gone.
