    I cant find it anywhere besides ebay. Do they sell it at best buy or any reetail or can I still get it from gateway?

    It's a Best Buy only laptop that has since been discontinued and replaced with the P6860FX.

    The 6831 would still be a lot cheaper than the 6860 at this point (used of course). I'd suggest if you are upgrading HDD and CPU, might as well get the 6831.

    If the 6860 had higher resolution display, then that'd be a tipping point.

    The $800 model you are crowing about doesn't have the 8800M GTS. :rolleyes:

    dun worry, they usually go for around that price...you can easily find another one. The best buy outlet ebayer is always selling them too.

    this could actually be a decent business. buy up these notebooks for 500-600 thru careful and watchful bidding and sell for 700-800.

    I bought mine for 700 on ebay. They described it as almost new (from best buy outlet) and it was ! perfect condition...works perfectly

    i upgraded to a t9300, 4gb of ram, and added an extra HD...so i highly recommend bboutlet
