    Nirvana...I would love to know how you OC'ed your T8300 to 2.9Ghz...I am only getting 2.5Ghz on my T9300.

    More accurately, only some Sager, Dell and Alienware? (not sure about this) users have done so. You could certainly try though. There's a thread on it somewhere.

    As to OP's question, it depends on what configuration.

    The P series outperforms the base or 8700M GTconfigurations for the M15X, and the 8600M SLI configuration for the M17X.
